Think Active is offering health and care professionals across Coventry, Solihull and Warwickshire exclusive free access to training content and resources about the importance of physical activity for healthy lifestyles as part of an online course.
National medical education provider Red Whale‘s Lifestyle Medicine course, developed in collaboration with Think Active, combines medical insights with practical lifestyle strategies to help ensure a holistic approach to health.
This month it was announced that more than 1,450 people have so far completed the course, which incorporates a wide range of digital resources including several videos featuring Think Active Partnership Manager Sarah Taylor in discussion with Dr Hussain Al-Zubaidi.
The videos include discussion about health inequalities in physical activity and how Think Active and the wider Active Partnerships network seek to address these inequalities in local communities throughout England, as well as discussing the need for a collaborative approach between communities and the healthcare sector.
